Business to Business (B2B)
B2B background reporting services are extensive detailed background reporting which are required for pre-employment screening and complies with the guidelines of the FCRA-Federal Credit Reporting Act, sections 603, 604, 606, and 615. These types of reports are consumer based reports and require a business to obtain consent from a potential employee to allow disclosure of their records. A business may need reference checks, criminal reports, driving history, education validation, etc to determine character worthiness.
FCRA disclosure: Before you can get a consumer report for employment purposes, written notice and authorization must be obtained by the individual, in a document consisting solely of this notice, that a report may be used. You also must get the person's written authorization before you ask a CRA for the report. (Special procedures apply to the trucking industry).
